REQUIREMENT

Please select your purchase preference(s), or what type of follow up you require.

Most of these items reflect the filter options found on the PRODUCT SELECTOR page.

New - Indicates a preference for a brand new machine from one of several wrapper manufacturers that Wrapper Direct represents.

Used or Reconditioned - Indicates a preference for a used wrapper which has been reconditioned and certified by one of Wrapper Direct's service partners.

As-Is - Indicates a pre-owned machine that is not yet in the process of being reconditioned.

Retrofits - Indicates an interest in retrofitting major sub-assemblies on an existing machine, such as the film carriage, cutter, sealer, control system, and more. Retrofits can offer the performance of brand new machines at a fraction of the cost of new.

Parts - This indicates an interest in finding parts for the repair or maintenance of an existing machine.

Technical Support - A request for technical support regarding any of the above items, or anything else.

Please select all that apply.
REQUIREMENT

TYPE

Please select the type(s) of machine(s) of interest.

These items reflect the filter options found on the PRODUCT SELECTOR page.

Turntable - A traditional pallet wrapper in which the load is placed on a turntable, and the film is applied from a vertically moving film carriage mounted to a tower off to the side.

Rotary Arm - A traditional pallet wrapper in which the load is placed under the machine and the film is applied from a vertically moving film carriage mounted to an arm which swings around the stationary load.

Rotary Ring - An unconventional pallet wrapper in which the film carriage is mounted to a rotary ring which wraps around the stationary load. The design advantages of this type of wrapper include unprecedented throughput speeds, film savings, and equipment options simply not possible with other types of wrappers.

Horizontal / Orbital - A traditional non-pallet wrapper designed to wrap long loads (such as lumber) through a rotary ring mounted horizontally. The rotary ring rotates but does not move back and forth, depending instead on the load moving through the ring to wrap the length.

Other - Indicates an application not adequately described by the above types. Please use the Notes and Comments section below to describe your requirement.

Please select all that apply.
TYPE

STRUCTURE

Please select the support structure or style(s) of machine(s) of interest.

These items reflect the filter options found on the PRODUCT SELECTOR page.

Low Profile - Traditional turntable type pallet wrapper in which the turntable is purpose designed to be low to the ground in order to accommodate loading ramps or accommodate placement into a pit for floor level loading.

High Profile - Traditional turntable type pallet wrapper in which the turntable is purpose designed to be higher off the ground in order to accommodate a more robust turntable support structure, or additional hardware required for automation.

Wall/Column Mount - Traditional rotary tower type pallet wrapper in which available building structures are utilized to support the machine and provide a more cost effective product.

Cantilevered Frame - Traditional rotary tower type pallet wrapper in which the machine is fully supported by a frame mounted to the back of the wrapper and lagged into a suitably robust floor. This provides the ability to place the machine anywhere while retaining a more cost effective product.

Tripod - Traditional rotary tower or rotary ring type pallet wrapper in which the machine is fully supported by legs which extend to either side of the tower. This provides the ability to place the machine anywhere while retaining a more cost effective product.

Gantry - Traditional rotary tower or rotary ring type pallet wrapper in which the machine is fully supported by a three or four legged support structure. This provides the ability to place the machine anywhere and accomodate a full array of options for oversized loads and other options.

Please select all that apply.

CONTROLS

Please select the level of automation required for your application.

These items reflect the filter options found on the PRODUCT SELECTOR page.

Foot Switch - Indicates a pallet wrapper turntable in which the operator controls the rotation of the turntable with an industrial foot switch.

Manual - Indicates a pallet wrapper in which the operator controls the rotation of the turntable and the raise and lower of the film carriage with manual switches on the control panel.

Semi-Automatic - Indicates a pallet wrapper in which the operator places the load on or under the wrapper, attaches the film to the load, and pushes a start button. The wrapper automatically wraps the load according to the pre-programmed settings without intervention. The operator then cuts and attaches the film tail to the load, and removes the load from the wrapper.

Automatic - Indicates a pallet wrapper in which the operator is not involved on a load-to-load basis. Loads are automatically conveyed into the wrapper and the wrapper automatically wraps the load. This includes cutting the film and attaching the film tail to the load. Then the load is automatically conveyed out of the wrapper. Operator intervention is only required when the wrapper runs out of film.

Other - Indicates an application not adequately described by the above types. Please use the Notes and Comments section below to describe your requirement.

Please select all that apply.

FILM CARRIAGE

Please select the method of film dispensing suitable for your application.

These items reflect the filter options found on the PRODUCT SELECTOR page.

None - Indicates a pallet wrapper turntable application in which the operator dispenses film from a handwrap roll or "hand wrapper".

Non Pre-Stretch - Indicates a pallet wrapper film carriage that dispenses handwrap, or machine wrap, directly from the film roll, emulating the function of hand wrapping. This represents the least expensive purchase option.

Pre-Stretch - Indicates a pallet wrapper film carriage that dispenses film that has been stretched to approximately three times its original length (coming off the roll) by a powered stretching mechanism built into the film carriage. This option significantly reduces the material costs of the packaging per load, and produces a superior packaged load for transport. Given sufficient volumes of usage, this option represents the most cost effective packaging option and will pay for the cost of the wrapper itself over time.

Other - Indicates a type not adequately described by the above. Please use the Notes and Comments section below to describe your requirement.
