Mach 1 SONIC RTX Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapper

This popular wrapper meets the demand for a standard duty, rotary arm, semi-automatic, with pre-stretch, and available options to meet common needs.

AdvantagesDisadvantages
  • Free standing design negates need for machine supporting structure
  • Unlimited load weight capacity
  • Suitable for unstable loads which cannot accommodate rotation
  • Floor level (no ramps required)
  • No load bearing components results in higher reliability and less maintenance
  • Minimal floor space requirement (when not operating)
  • Semi-automatic machine, does not require the active participation of the operator throughout the whole wrap cycle, allowing him/her to work productively elsewhere while the load is wrapped automatically
  • Pre-stretch film carriage maximizes the stretching of the film, significantly reducing the cost of packaging per load
  • Pre-stretch produces superior shipping package
  • No air supply required
  • Requires installation on a suitably robust floor with special anchors
  • Higher initial purchase price (compared to turntable models)
  • Higher initial installation costs (professional installation recommended)
  • Minimal options for oversized loads
  • Larger floor space requirement (when operating)
  • Not portable
  • Requires operator to manually place the load, attach the film to the load, start the wrap cycle, cut and seal the film, and remove the load

Common Options:

  • Height extension
  • C-Stand for floors unfit for lag down base
  • Platform scale with digital weight indicator
  • 30" film carriage
  • Safety fencing

* All products are designed for operation in a typical warehouse environment (dry, clean, heated).

Options may be available to adapt these machines for operation in other environments (eg. cold, wet, dusty, etc.).

Operation of these machines in conditions for which they were not designed might reduce the life expectancy of the machine and/or negate the warranty.
