Mach 1 SONIC HPX Pallet Stretch Wrapper

This is the flagship Mach 1 product, meeting the demand for a heavy duty, industrial rated, high profile turntable, semi-automatic, with pre-stretch, capable of wrapping industry standard load sizes (with oversize options), that is forklift portable (front and rear), and has a full array of available options (including a scale option) to meet any need.

AdvantagesDisadvantages
  • More robust turntable support system
  • Semi-automatic machine, does not require the active participation of the operator throughout the whole wrap cycle, allowing him/her to work productively elsewhere while the load is wrapped automatically
  • Pre-stretch film carriage maximizes the stretching of the film, significantly reducing the cost of packaging per load
  • Pre-stretch produces superior shipping package
  • Full array of available options accommodates needs for over-sized loads and wrap pattern variations
  • Fork lift portable
  • No air supply required
  • Minimal installation costs
  • Reduced maximum load wrap height capacity
  • Does not accommodate a loading ramp (i.e. fork truck loading only)
  • Requires operator to manually load the turntable, attach the film to the load, start the wrap cycle, cut and seal the film, and remove the load from the turntable
  • Load supporting turntable has maximum load weight limitations
  • May not be suitable for unstable loads which cannot accommodate rotation

Mach 1 SONIC LPS - 240h, 3D.jpg"Gentle Cycle" Control Option

Applicable to models:

Comments:

  • Demonstrates "Gentle Cycle" control option, for very light or unstable pallet loads
  • Included at no extra cost in standard controls package
  • This delicate cycle provides a slower rotation of the turntable during the first half of the wrap cycle until the carriage reaches the top of the load and one layer of film is applied. The turntable then accelerates to high speed for the rest of the wrapping cycle
  • The slower rotation speed is user adjustable
  • If other loads are to be wrapped using a "normal" cycle, we recommend pairing this option with the "Independent settings switch for 3 load types" option which allows operators to quickly and easily select between different load wrap types with the flip of a switch
  • NOTE: no sound in video

Video Features:

  • Operator starts the wrap cycle
  • Compete automatic wrap cycle demonstrated
    • begin rotation at slower speed
    • wrap up
    • auto height photoeye detects top of load
    • one top wrap at slower speed
    • turntable accelerates to full speed
    • top wraps
    • wrap down
    • stop limit detects bottom of load
